Nike Tennis Classic

Bought the all-white pair for my 10-year-old for school and everyday wear. Visually, they look awesome—very clean, retro, and low-profile, so they match literally everything from athletic shorts to casual jeans. The leather upper makes them way easier to wipe down than canvas sneakers, which is a massive plus for kids' shoes. My only complaint is that the rubber sole is pretty rigid right out of the box. It took about a week of consistent wear for them to break in and soften up. Also, they run just a tiny bit flat, so if your kid needs heavy arch support or thick cushioning for running around all day, you might want to look at a standard running shoe instead. Overall, it's a solid, durable shoe that holds up well."

These have definitely exceeded my expectations. They are comfortable and wide foot friendly. Most tennis shoes are not wide foot friendly because of how narrow they are. That’s not the case at all with these they fit wonderfully. White is easy to match with any and everything so that’s a plus, they are easy to style with a tennis dress or some biker shorts. All day wear was also great in these! I would recommend these and would definitely get in other colors.

These are exactly what they sound like: a super clean, no-frills tennis-inspired shoe. Leather upper that starts off a bit stiff but softens up nicely with wear (already happening after a couple weeks), classic laces, low collar, and a solid rubber cupsole that looks like it can take a beating. My kid says they feel "normal but good" high praise from a boy who usually only cares if they light up or have Velcro. Nike Fit and comfort: They run pretty true to size in my experience. I measured his foot and went with his current Big Kid size, and there's a little room to grow without being sloppy. The padded collar and tongue keep things comfortable for all-day wear, and they don't slip around during recess soccer games. No blisters or complaints so far, which is a win compared to some other brands we've tried. The sole has good grip on gym floors and sidewalks without being too heavy.
