Nike Pro Sculpt

When I first received these shorts I was iffy especially with the design. They felt like they would be stiff, if that makes sense..and I thought the texture & design would bother me, but to my surprise these are actually really comfortable and look so cute! I really love the length & how well these fit. They’re super flattering and hug in all the right places! Whether exercising or wearing for every day - these are snug and don’t ride up. The thick high waist band is also definitely a plus! I’m high waist for life but I love that the band didn’t squeeze me or feel uncomfortable. I will say the band was a little looser on me, but that also might be a me problem. It didn’t affect the fit of the shorts, so I’d say they are true to size. What I loved most would definitely be the waist band and material. I own many biker shorts, but these are definitely at the top now. The ONLY minor thing that affects my opinion of them is the designs/wording all over them. I like to be very minimalistic with designs/wording, but it’s definitely something that isn’t a deal breaker because they really are SO GOOD. I’ve honestly never felt more my best than I do when I look at myself in these. They gave me an “oomph” that I didn’t know I needed. I definitely recommend!

The Nike Pro Sculpt Women's Dri-FIT High-Waisted 5" Shorts are a great choice for athletic wear and can be worn on their own or under shorts, making them a versatile, stylish option for those who value coverage and clothing that stays put during your work out. I am almost a year postpartum, so while I’m not currently in a place I want to wear these on their own, their sleek design makes them an option I’ll gladly show off in the future. They took the biker short and gave it a make over! The last month I’ve had them, I’ve worn them under running shorts and they did a fantastic job of staying in place without the band rolling or bunching up. I am 140 lbs and wore a medium. It was the perfect amount of hold for me because I don’t love tight/high compression (I maybe could have done a small if I wanted high compression). They were comfortable while running and weight lifting but I could also see the Nike Pro Sculpt shorts working great for yoga. The only criticism I have is that they smelled very strongly of plastic/chemicals when I first opened the package and it lingered even after washing them. As a preference, I also would have included pockets. These shorts are great for a variety of workouts and I would recommend them for someone who wants to upgrade to a short that stands out and checks all the boxes.

These shorts are great - TTS (I usually have to size up for Nike bike shorts), shorter, hugs your hips, over all great fit. My only con is that the waist band falls ever so slightly high on me and I’d prefer slightly lower even just a half an inch, but that’s just me! Otherwise the thick waist band holds you in! I also love the strip of material on the sides - gives the shorts a cool look.
