The Nike Dri-FIT 6" Pro Training Shorts have a lot going for them, but like anything, they're not perfect for everyone.
For the most part, these shorts fit really well. The waistband sits comfortably and the overall cut feels intentional like Nike actually thought about how people move in them. That said, if you're carrying some size in your legs, you're going to feel that tightness through the thighs. It's not unbearable, but it's noticeable enough that it could be a dealbreaker depending on your build and preference. If you've got thicker legs, sizing up might be worth considering.
Here's where I've got a little back-and-forth. The fabric isn't exactly what I'd personally reach for typically as it's not my first choice for performance fabric. But the shorts are still comfortable. It didn't cause irritation, it moved with me, and had that DriFit technology. So while it might not be the premium training material some of us are used to, it's far from bad. It gets the job done.
If you've got a more athletic-average build, you'll probably love these. Decent fit, decent comfort. If you're built like you live in the squat rack, try before you buy or size up. The material won't blow you away, but it won't let you down either.
