How This Was Made

The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

I got these shorts because the were simple. No huge logos. Black shorts. My first impression was they felt heavier than normal to me. They are fully mesh, and I’ve been more drawn to Dri-FIT so it was a thing. Then I wore them. They remained comfortable all day, and that weight disappeared. I love the pockets in the shorts. Love the length and the look they give. They come a little above the knee, but they’re really at about the perfect length for me. I would absolutely buy more of these.
