Red-dirt ready

Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less build-up on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analysed clay build-up areas for the design. Then, we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry).

Lighter Load

The herringbone traction pattern is made from our new rubber compound that's lighter than Vapors of the past. We brought back the firm midfoot plastic piece seen on past Vapors to provide optimal stability and transitions when cutting from side to side. The supportive piece also allowed us to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe.

Transfer the Power

A firm foot frame wraps around the supportive midfoot plate and spans from heel to toe, giving you a more secure feel. It helps give you the stability to transfer power during aggressive slides, cuts and pivots.

Lightweight Upper

We reduced the weight of the engineered mesh while maintaining durability in high-wear zones by the toe.
