An ultra-strong Hyperlift plate under your heel optimises stability for heavy lifts like squats, deadlifts and cleans without compromising the ride. A wider toe box compared with the Metcon 9 lets your toes extend outwards and helps you optimise your power through your whole foot.
We updated the midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return. It is combined with flex grooves on the outsole to give you flexible, responsive cushioning when doing high-intensity exercises like Box Jumps and quick sprints.
A tough, sticky texture strategically placed on the midfoot and toe—both high-wear areas—delivers game-changing grip and durability. A new traction pattern provides a flat, sticky surface for lifting on even the sweatiest of surfaces.

I really want to give 5 star but here’s the thing… metcon 6 and 7 were elite. These just aren’t the same. Feels like a cheaper shoe… also, I was size 11.5 for previous metcon now all of a sudden 11.5 is too big! Had to return. I guess I’ll end up getting 11’s but still I think they’ve gotten less impressive as time goes on but still a good shoe

Recommend getting a half size bigger like Nike suggested. I’m a size 11, went with a 11.5 and they fit perfectly. These Metcons are lighter so it’s good for lifting and cardio.
