feel extremely stiff, almost like they’re made of cardboard

I recently purchased the Air Jordan 1 Low SE directly from Nike, and I’m honestly very disappointed with the quality. Visually, the shoes are beautiful — the color is rich and stylish, exactly what I expected from the photos. However, the comfort and materials are far below what I would expect for a $165 pair of shoes. They feel extremely stiff, almost like they’re made of cardboard, and walking in them is not comfortable at all, even for short periods of time. I own other Nike shoes that are much softer, more flexible, and made from materials that feel premium and supportive. Those pairs were comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately, this model feels completely different — more like fast-fashion footwear than something from a major athletic brand. The quality honestly reminds me of shoes from Shein rather than Nike. I really wanted to love these because they look amazing, but the lack of comfort and the rigid construction make them very disappointing.
