Trail speed

A carbon-fibre Flyplate, layered between ZoomX foam and a knit fabric-wrapped midsole, gives you a propulsive and springy feel. It helps you stay fresh to continue pushing the limits of speed.

Grippy traction pattern

A Vibram exclusive Ultrafly outsole made with Vibram Megagrip has a sticky rubber that works with a chevron lug pattern. They combine to provide grip when going uphill or downhill, even in wet weather.

Grippy lugs

This exclusive outsole also features Vibram Litebase and Traction Lug technologies. The result is a lightweight, durable outsole that gives you great grip wherever your run takes you.

Stable on the trail

A flat bottom and minimised cross rocker give you optimal stability on trail terrain while heel-to-toe rocker provides smooth transition. Engineered zones of support in the midfoot help keep you secure.

Durability Where You Need It

The fabric wrap on the midsole helps to cushion the foam from the elements and abrasion of being on the trails. Hard-wearing abrasion-resistant materials provide durability.

Very poor, they just don’t offer any grip on muddy surfaces. Have had to purchase another pair from a competitor.

On my 2nd pair - Love this shoe for all round training runs, on or off road. Very resilient, It's happy for 500kms+ Perfect for most UK trails that I run, but the only downer is it's not that grippy in the wet/mud for more agressive ascents/descents... Still a 5 star shoe for me though. When is the GTX version coming? that would be the ultimate wet weather trainer!!
My other Nikes are better!

The sole (orange) of my Ultraflys was worn out after only 350km of trail runs!!! Nike Support says: "Normal wear and tear"!!! The sole (black) of my Pegasus Trail 4 GTX is still in better condition after 1006km!!
