Nike Varsity Elite

The Nike Varsity Elite Backpack is a great choice for all! For avid basketball players, this backpack can hold a ton. It’s able to fit a basketball, my pair of size 12 shoes, and even more all at the same time. It holds everything I need when I go to the court with its many pockets. The zipper pocket on the bottom of the bag is great to keep your sweaty clothes or towel away from the main compartments. There’s a soft lined pocket perfect for your phone or sunglasses, which is a great touch. For everyday use, there’s plenty of room for a laptop, books and anything else you might need. The backpack material feels strong enough to handle heavy use and the AirMax on the shoulder straps are a cool detail. It stays pretty comfortable and doesn’t look too bulky when it’s filled up. The Nike branding is subtle, but a nice accent to the backpack. The side pocket is quite large, it even fits my big water bottle that struggles to fit into most pockets. My only concern are the zipper loops seem a little thin and might break after repeated use. Overall this is a great backpack for all!

The Nike varsity backpack has been my daily carryall bag since getting it and will likely continue to be my main go-to bag for most of my needs. At 32L capacity, the bag is large enough to fit just about anything you’d need on a daily basis with an ample amount of compartments for specific needs. Starting with the main compartment is a large wide opening sack structure that features netting along the backside for some separation. I’ve been able to carry things like full sized basketball, multiple pickleball paddles, spare clothes, towels, full sized keyboards and computer accessories for work, and many other things. The zipper enclosure opens to about halfway down the bag to allow for a large opening, making loading and unloading the bag effortless. Along the sides are the bag are two pockets that are perfect for bottle storage. The bag features a smaller frontside pocket, a vented compartment with a durable outer liner at the bottom, and a slim compartment along the backside which I found to be perfect for carrying my laptop. Lastly, there is a small zippered compartment lined with a soft material for more delicate items like sunglasses. I found the overall materials and bag construction to be quite durable for everyday use. The straps are very comfortable and integrate air technology for added comfort. The chest strap locking mechanism also helps with stability when carrying heavier items to lessen the weight burden on the shoulders. All zippers on the bag are fitted with finger loops to make opening and closing the zippers easy. Overall, very much satisfied and impressed with the thoughtful and intentional design of the backpack. This is definitely a bag that is versatile enough to use daily for days to the gym or casual use traveling to and from work.

I got this backpack to use primarily for the gym. It has a sturdy feel, great materials, a lot of pockets, and nice rings around the zippers so it’s easy to zip and unzip. I have been putting my basketball and basketball shoes in there. Additional pockets have been used for my earbuds, wallet, and keys. I use the side pockets for my water bottle. I was worried the basketball would make it too bulky, but hasn’t. My only complaint is that the side pockets are a little loose and my water bottle falls out if the bag isn’t sat up exactly right. I noticed some of the pockets on the inside might be good for laptops and chargers, so I may use it like that for work or travel in the future. I got this backpack to use primarily for the gym.
