Giannis Immortality 5

I’ve enjoyed playing in the Giannis Immortality 5 so far. The fit and feel were generally good, although they ran a little bigger than I expected. I also found them to be a bit lower cut than I anticipated for a basketball shoe. That wasn’t necessarily a dealbreaker, but it did take some getting used to. Overall, they felt comfortable on the court and provided good cushioning during play. The design is one of the strongest aspects of the shoe. I really like the clean look and colorway. They have a modern basketball style without being overly flashy, and they look great both on and off the court. The fabric and materials feel solid and well-made. The upper is lightweight and breathable, which helps during longer sessions, while still providing enough structure to feel secure when moving around the court. What I liked most was the overall look of the shoe and the comfort underfoot. The cushioning felt good and the shoes were lightweight without feeling flimsy. If I could change one thing, I would make the collar slightly higher or add a bit more support around the ankle and Achilles area. The low-top design may appeal to some players, but I personally would prefer a little more coverage and support. Overall, though, these are a solid basketball shoe with a clean design and comfortable feel.

The Giannis Immortality 5 has a simple design and is a shoe that is great for outdoor use. The shoe feels stiff around the forefoot when running, but feels secure. After a few wears, it has not gained flexibility and is still rather stiff. When jumping in them, the responsiveness is mediocre, so there isn’t too much of a “bounce.” The white, black, and volt colors on the shoe provided a classic look and can also be worn casually. It fits true to size and did fit well around my foot, but I would prefer to go a half size up just for a little more room. I think it would be great to use when playing basketball outdoors since it has a thicker outsole. I wish there was a break in the outsole where the forefoot is, somewhat increasing flexibility.

The Giannis Immortality 5 basketball shoe is hands down one of the most comfortable basketball shoes I’ve ever worn. Right out of the box, the design immediately caught my attention. The combination of lime green, black, and white works extremely well together, and the lime green Nike swoosh really makes the shoe stand out without being too flashy. Fit and Feel: The fit was true to size for me, which is always a big plus. The shoe feels snug around the foot in a good way, providing support without feeling restrictive. It hugs your foot securely and gives you confidence when moving around the court. The cushioning feels soft underfoot while still providing the responsiveness needed for basketball. Even after playing, my feet felt comfortable with no soreness or discomfort. Design: The design is one of my favorite parts of the shoe. It has a modern, athletic look that reflects Giannis’ style of play fast, aggressive, and explosive. The lime green, black, and white color combination is eye catching without being over the top. Whether you’re wearing them for a game or casually, they definitely stand out. Fabric and Materials: The upper material feels lightweight and breathable, which helped keep my feet from getting too hot during a pickup game. The fabric provides a good balance between flexibility and support, allowing my natural movement while still keeping the foot locked in place. The materials also feel durable enough to handle regular use on the court. Performance: I had the opportunity to wear them during a quick pickup basketball game, and they performed better than I expected. Whether I was making quick cuts, changing direction, or sprinting in transition, the shoes stayed comfortable and supportive. The traction felt reliable, and I never felt like I was slipping. What I Liked Most: What I liked most was the overall comfort. From the fit to the cushioning and support, everything worked together to make the shoe feel great throughout the entire game. I also really appreciated the shoe’s security and how comfortable it felt on my feet! What I Would Change: Honestly, there isn’t much I would change. If I had to pick something, I would like to see a little more cushioning in the heel for players who spend a lot of time running or jumping. Other than that, the shoe checked all the boxes for me. Overall, Nike did an excellent job with the Giannis Immortality 5. It combines comfort, style, support, and performance into one package. If you’re seeking a shoe that excels on the court and looks great off it, I highly recommend giving these a try. This is easily one of my favorite basketball shoes I’ve worn.
