Nike Sportswear Collection

I love this jacket; it has such a retro vibe to it. It’s a great grab and go piece for crisp Spring and Fall weather. I’m currently using it for cool summer nights. It is 100% cotton, unlined, with an elastic waist. I love that the fabric is not stiff; it’s very easy and comfortable to move around in. It has a hood, which is a huge plus. I really love the subtle “Nike” detail on the back. The Nike logo, including swoosh, is boldly embroidered on the back in blue stitching. The quality of this jacket is excellent. The only thing that I would change is the pockets; I prefer side pockets vs kangaroo pockets, but it’s not a deal breaker. I am 5’2”, 140lbs and I am wearing a size XL in kids.

HARD NO. This is by far one of the worst items I have ever seen from Nike. It is a awful denim color very out of date. The insignia of Nike is too much, too many places and gawdy. It is insanely large, more than over sized. It is a kids Medium and is big a solid XL kid. One would think that it possibly could be worn with other denim items from the Nike Collection but the color does not match and it just looks sloppy with anything else. The fabric is stiff and even washing did not soften it. I would remake this whole thing from top to bottom. It does not need a hood, it does not need all the Nike insignia - especially on the back. It is not on trend at all - kids wear baggy sweat shirts not zip up denim. This is a true unisex item but still misses the mark for both girls and boys. This jacket is very surprising from Nike.
