The quality is top notch. He slipped them on immediately and the fit is true to size. He loved the arch support and feel of the shoe initially. My son is very active. His complaint was that as he played, the thick, shiny material on the top of the shoe was thick and restrictive and did not easily bend. He especially noticed it when running. If there was a way to minimize that restriction, this would be his favorite shoe!

Picked these up for my eight-year-old in a size 5, and he absolutely loves them.
