NikeSKIMS Rift

These socks were a great get for me. They pair so well with the split-toe skims shoes I already had. These socks made wearing the skims rift shoes much more comfortable. The only thing I would change is to construct them a bit more solidly, as the stitching seems like it may not last too long. I used these for casual daily wear such as quick errands. I am looking forward to giving them a go in a more active/fitness related activity.

These socks are interesting! I mean that in a good way… they remind me of toe socks from the 90’s and I used to love those. I wasn’t sure how I would feel at first, the material almost seemed thin. However, I was wrong, and these are nice and cozy. The material feels like it’s moisture wicking and they don’t get too warm, which is a problem for me with most socks. It’s a little tight fitting on the calves, but it didn’t bother me. I actually really enjoyed how light weight and breezy it felt.

I was skeptical if I would like these as the toe separation is often uncomfortable in this type of sock. I was pleasantly surprised! The divide between the toes didn’t dig into my foot at all and they were comfortable all day. The sock band didn’t slide down and the material was not too slippery. My favorite aspect of these was the L and R and the size stitching (SM) right in the sock. I would say it is a bit hard to see until you know what you’re looking at (see the attached pictures). Overall, it’s a great sock for wearing with sandals to sneakers or slides. It also is much sturdier than I thought it would be and held up in the wash.
