Supportive, stable, and looks great

These Jordan Luka 5 run small - order a size up from what you usually order. I wear a 12 dress shoe, usually get 12.5 sneakers, and a 12.5 pair was small; I needed a 13. I found the support of the shoes to be nice - my ankles felt well supported and it would be hard to roll your ankles in these. I did some squats on a deadlift platform and felt really stable - you could use these for lifting. On hardwood surfaces, the grip is fantastic - these are well suited to the court and a serious ball player would be able to get great use out of them, but I also got good use at the gym. The inner fabric is smooth and socks slide easily into the shoes, but I found that sometimes the tongue of the shoe catches your foot and folds at the bottom when you put your foot in, and this can be uncomfortable. I don’t know if this is some quirk with the fit or size of the shoe on my foot, but it is a little annoying. The outer fabric is tough and seems to resist water - it rained at one point and my feet stayed dry. I love the style of the shoes - I have gotten a few compliments in just the short two weeks I’ve worn them out. I have the all black shoe with bright crimson soles - they look good with both jeans and shorts and are very versatile. My favorite part of the Luka line is the neon contrast with the rest of the shoe - it’s awesome. Overall a great shoe - just be sure to try them on first and make sure they fit.
