Solid shoe, but I shouldn't have to clean a shoe shipped directly from Nike

I'm a huge fan of Nike sneakers, and this is a solid shoe for the money. That said, the quality of the pair that I got was below expectations for an SB issue. The shoes came loose in the box with no tissue wrapping. The suede had rubbed significantly on the inside of the box, showing wear at the contact points. It's the first pair of Nikes that I've ever had to clean upon receiving them. To be clear - I don't think they were a return/pre-worn. Just very. poorly. packaged. The suede itself isn't as bright a pink as you might expect, and the dyes on the leather in the pair that I received were inconsistently in several spots. I get that at this price point, you're getting what you pay for, but it was a good reminder to me that the SB label doesn't automatically mean "high quality." I don't plan to return them - not worth the hassle. For context, I'm an "average" sneakerhead, with around 50 pairs in my collection. I'll wear the heck out of these, but they won't go into the "official" collection.
