[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great socks for hiking and running. It's a wool blend so that'll help with comfort, cushioning and drying. One thing to note is I ordered a size L on the website where the expectation would be that it would be a size 8-12. The item received is sized 10-11.5, so if you are on the extreme ends of the expected range, the sock may not fit appropriately for you. Thankfully for me, it fits fine for my size 12 foot. I would not mind picking up additional pairs!

I'd prefer the solid black vs the black and Anthracite. These hold up better than the lightweight running version. However after a couple washes they shrink fast and the material on the upper ribbed area on the sock tends to fall down and cover the check mark in front.
