The quality of several Nike shoes I’ve purchased in the $100 - $175 range have been poor compared to just a few years ago. The design is classic, but the material both feels and looks cheap. Out of five recent purchases in this price range the quality has been poor, showing holes after a few months from casual wear. I’ll be looking for alternative brands with higher quality until Nike makes some improvements.

I saw these on someone at Disney and coveted them HARD! lol Finally, yesterday I bought a pair. So far, I love these shoes for the following 3 reasons: 1. They are stylish! The silhouette is sleek, and appealing with jeans, leggings, tennis skirt - doesn't matter! They look good with everything. 2. They fit like a glove! I usually wear a 9 in sneakers but I had to get a 9.5 in these. So they do run small. I worked out in them yesterday evening (straight out of the box into tabata & dance cardio workout) and I loved they way they felt the entire time! It was plus that the bubble heel lifts me up another 2 inches or so! The sole is super responsive to hopping, jumping, etc. 3. They are impressively supportive while in motion. The heel piece comes up a bit high, just like the tongue piece, but they are not obstructive. I wore thin athletic socks with them, because if I'd chosen a thicker sock, the shoe would have been too snug.

I'm pretty commonly an 8 among all shoes. Vans, converse, usually Nike even. But these run small. Will update/ add another review about quality/ comfort after I exchange.
