Nike Vomero Premium

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned.

First impression: Very comfortable and great bounce. But after a few trial runs I discovered the otherwise (for my wide footed regular size anyway) correctly sized shoe has slight heel slippage if I don't pull the laces super duper tight. Also I'm finding the height of the sole quite extreme and it doesn't feel really all that stable even with the width of the shoe (I'm already over 6 foot, how much taller do I need to be? I have to duck under branches already when running). Then there is the noise. Squish, squish, squish. The good side: Contrary to other reviews I feel like the weight of the shoe doesn't seem heavy at all, it's still a light shoe even if it's not like a feather. Having ventured into Vomero-land, I have to admit to myself that Pegasus boys will be Pegasus boys. The thing that really makes the Vomero a different shoe is this wow-effect you get from the extreme cushion and bounce. It's so extreme that it'll nearly make me feel sea sick. I was going to try wearing them in combination with a VR-headset but I'd likely end up putting the shoe's name to the test. All in all still very good, just not enough to make me a defector from ye olde Pegasus.
