I got these Custom ID'd because I liked the way they looked and wanted to design my own and didn't intend on actually running in them. One day an important document blew away so I chased it down and I just happened to have them on and they felt great when running. So I bought a second pair just for running.

I’ve been a fan of the Infinity Run series for a while and these are another great version in this series. One of the things that stood out for me was the cushion experienced when running, as the shoes create a very smooth run step after step. The shoe also confirms to your foot incredibly well so you feel locked in and don’t have any slippage when pushing off. The large cushion does create a different look for the shoe, but the colorway I got (turquoise and white) works well to decreases how much the cushion stands out. I wouldn’t wear these all day as the locked in feeling is something that would likely be uncomfortable long term, but for running, this is a great feel. Overall, I’ve had a great experience with this shoe.

I ran around 15 miles in this shoe in addition to playing some volleyball and pickleball outside. While I love running in the nike invincible runs (I’ve gone through 3 pairs), I feel a bit limited in those shoes - I only use them for longer runs and that’s it. The nike react infinity runs, however, are an amazing shoe for faster runs and all around daily use. The versatility is by far my favorite part about them. I like to use these shoes for tempo runs, walking around, and outdoor activities with my friends. Not only that, I think this model looks a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the previous models. The fly knit on this shoe is very sock-like, so they might feel a little bit tight in the beginning and will loosen up with use. The arch also feels very supportive/noticeable, but I did not get any uncomfortable rubbing. Overall, the shoe seems pretty durable - the sole of the shoe is still well intact and seems well made. It’s possible that the fly knit could rip, but I would say you don’t have to worry about that unless you’re tripping everywhere and scraping the flyknit on cement. An impressive shoe for sure and I will consider buying another pair once these ones hit their limit.
