Nike completely ignored science in the creation of this shoe. They are selling technical running shoes for women that are actually men’s shoes sized down for women. Science has shown over and over that because of how women are built we strike differently than men. We are also smaller boned and don’t have as wide of feet as men. Yet, here’s Nike creating a technical unisex running shoe. Of course it doesn’t fit, I’m a woman and don’t have wide feet. Ignoring science will lead to ill fitted shoes which can potentially cause injuries. All these shoes do is secure the jobs of every physical therapist in the country. I have worn Nike for 35 years, but clearly they are only gearing their shoes towards fashion. I’ll be selling my stock.

Nike Pegasus 41 'Faith Kipyegon'
Springy foam plus snappy Air Zoom units equals our most energised ride.
Faith Kipyegon's journey has redefined greatness, from running barefoot in Kenya to becoming a globally recognised middle-distance runner and world-record holder. This collection celebrates her journey, and empowers runners worldwide to redefine what greatness looks like. This special Pegasus 41 reflects Faith's unparalleled speed, her Kenyan heritage, and her personal life as both a mother and a world-class athlete, blending cutting-edge performance innovations with meaningful storytelling.
Mother. Runner. Champion.
Faith's status in each realm is represented throughout. Blurred, radiating movement graphics on the lace tips and tissue paper symbolise Faith's record-smashing speed. On the box, a larger green Swoosh logo represents motherhood, while the smaller red Swoosh logo honours her daughter. The colours can also be seen on her custom bracelet, which also pay homage to Kenya and her love of country.
From humble beginnings to fastest known
The sockliners are embedded with a graphic of Faith's bare feet as a nod to the humble beginnings that helped mould her into the great she is today. Her initials double as her goal to be "fastest known".
Responsive ride
ReactX foam midsole surrounds forefoot and heel Air Zoom units for an energised ride. It's 13% more responsive than previous React technology.
Waffle-inspired traction
The signature waffle-inspired rubber outsole provides traction and flexibility.
Plush padding
A plush collar, tongue and sockliner provide a secure and comfortable fit.

What's new?
- Based on feedback from everyday runners, we made the engineered mesh upper lighter and more breathable for increased comfort.
- For the first time in a Pegasus, the midsole is made from ReactX foam, increasing energy return by 13% and reducing the carbon footprint by at least 43%.
- A wider forefoot and heel provide a stable, springy platform and a responsive ride.
- We increased the stack heights in both the forefoot and heel for added cushioning and protection.

"Makes your feet feel protected and cushioned, and keeps you fresh".
