Nike Zoom Skylon 11

The sneaker itself is really comfortable. It fits nicely, true to size, and has a high level of cushion which helps while running, especially for pronated feet people like me. I also enjoy the mesh material. It makes the shoe feel more breathable and lightweight, which is exactly what you want while training. The function I have no issues with. Unfortunately, the design is where a majority of my critiques fall. While I do like the reflective bands on the tongue of the sneaker for contrast, the black on black design in combination with the shape of the shoe makes it appear either like a sports cleat, or like a shoe I would wear to serve tables. As a former server, I can honestly say that this would be a good option. Unfortunately, that means comfort is prioritized over aesthetic. I’d love to see this sneaker in a different set of colors. Any contrast rather than black on black would personally make it a lot more appealing and more wearable.

These shoes are very fierce. They might even be a little stiff however, it might just be my ankles/feet. The only area of them that wasn't flexible or fit my shape very well was the back on either side of my heel. They didn't cause any blisters or anything they just pressed into my ankle a little more than I'd like. I wore them golfing for 18 holes and I really enjoyed the structure of the sides and the sole. They kept my feet from sliding as well as my ankles from twisting and sliding swing after swing. I really appreciated the structure in my heels, they weren't rounded or felt like the air pockets were too much and could cause me to shift in my shoes while swinging my club. I also wore them while lifting weights (leg day). The solid platform the sole provided was ideal for me. I was able to keep my feet flat and have even balance while squatting and lunging. I don't think I would wear them running, again, just because the backs were pressing in on my heels. The material of these shoes is super solid and I really liked the design of the rubber that runs from the toe up to the laces and down the sides with the swoosh cutting through the rubber. They are very stylish and they do have reflective stripes that run up the tongue so if you were to run at night you would be noticed. They are a thick mesh like material allowing for air flow which for me is super vital on those hot days being active outside. I can't wait to spend a little more time breaking these in, I think they could become my turn to lifting shoe, but they would be great to just chase kids in as well as grocery getting.

The Zoom Skylon 11 is a light weight shoe and very comfortable. I love the style and look. Definitely an everyday shoe. The only downside is I normally wear a size 8 in Nike and still have decent room but on this shoe I could have went to a 8.5 to have the same feel.
