Yes, the size follows kids size chart as another reviewer wrote. XS is right size for kid 116cm tall. I like the foam has enough cushion. Only one downside is that it has no holes to hold the straps. Nike needs to give the customers correct size guide on shinguards. In the past, I bought kids one as guide but it was too big.

These are children's shinguards. It doesn't specifically state this in the description, but looking at the size options and the "size chart" the choices correspond to Adults sizing. I ordered XS and they are tiny, so will need to reorder/return! Nike should either label them as childrens or update the size charts accordingly. The item otherwise looks typical good quality you get from Nike.
