Nike Flex Runner 3

• Not as good as they used to be.

  Nearly impossible for my son who has just turned three years old to put on. Also, not as flexible as they used to be… We‘ll buy a (used) older version of this shoe (dynamo, free or similar). Also, I don’t understand why the soles are glued into the shoe - it would be so much easier to check the fit on a kid if one could take it out.

  My son loves these shoes! He said they are so comfy and he plays them for basketball and indoor soccer at his school. They are very light and flexible. Only issue he does have is putting them on. The tongue area is not that stretchy for his foot to fit in smoothly so it does take a bit of time. I think for that age range size they should definitely be more stretchy.

• Great shoes, very difficult to put on

  We got these shoes for our four year old. The look and feel is very "athletic" - they don't look like "kids" shoes which, to my son, seemed to be a great thing. As soon as he saw the sneakers, he wanted to wear them. He couldn't get them on himself - he usually is not challenged by this sort of thing but for this pair, he had to get help from us. There is a huge loop on each sneaker, which an adult finger can fit through (really thoughtful and appreciated!!) but even with that aid, we had quite a bit of trouble getting the sneakers on. Once they are on, though, they're super stylish and our son reports they're very comfortable. We have the gray and white and it looks great. We are happy with the way they fit and look and he is happy with the way they feel. The only real drawback is how difficult they are to put on.
