Nike Streakfly 2

The Nike Streakfly 2 Men's Road Racing Shoe is a true race performance shoe designed with speed in mind. I was shocked at how incredibly light and comfortable it was. The materials used on Nike Streakfly 2 allow your feet to breathe without compromising the shoe's durability. I am a true fan of the color and design of the Nike Streakfly 2. The Streakfly fits like a glove, as an actual race performance shoe should. If you do not like a tight fit, go up half a size. The only thing I would change is the design of the heel.

The Nike Streakfly 2 is a lightweight racing shoe that I feel very fast running in. What stood out to me initially is how lightweight the shoes are. It did not even feel like anything was in the box when I received them, and I had the same sentiments when they were on my feet. I felt very fast running my mile in these and I would reserve them for short, fast distances. They feel like I’m on my toes with the curvature of the forefoot, and that helped a lot with my sprinting. I have a somewhat wide foot and these were very narrow and fit a little small. I think very thin socks or even barefoot would feel fine. Overall I would keep these for short races or distances where I would want to run fast.

First I would like to say after unboxing these I really liked the look of the shoe and that's why I decided on 2 stars and not 1 star. After removing them from the box I was extremely disappointed in the overall quality of both the upper of the shoe as well as the outsole. The upper is paper thin and I have a sneaking suspicion these shoes will not last long. Upon seeing that I put the shoe on my feet and not only is the outsole way too tall in the back it's also not wide enough and I don't have wide feet. Every time I walk in them I get the sensation I'm going to roll my ankle. To me they felt like the male equivalent of wearing closed toed high heels.
