Comfortable Sock but sizing is off for me

I wear a M9.5 -10 depending on the shoe and brand. Just outright the socks are comfortable if they fit you but the sizing is off for me. I purchased the large but even after a wash and dry they slip around in my shoe. Returned and Exchanged them for a M but they are too small.
