These pants are going to be perfect for fall and winter for my son. They are a little big (he is super thin), but I was able to roll them once and they fit much better in the waist. I wish there was a slim fit! They are very soft and thick enough that they will be warm when the temperatures drop a little more. My son has already been wearing them in the evenings and I know they will be a go to pair once it gets cold enough to wear them all day. I like the added functionality of the snaps on the side. So far, these pants have held up well other than one of the snaps breaking when I tested them as soon as I got them. I love the contrast of the black pant with the white stripe and basketball. It is the perfect combination to complement any school color or sports team and it makes the design stand out.

My 8 year old (about a average size for age or maybe slightly smaller) got these pants in size medium. He wore them for standard playing outside around our home as well as for playing soccer. The pants move well and do run big (long as well as wide), but after rolling the top hem over once, he seemed very comfortable to move. Both sides of the pants have snaps which allows the pants to open to about halfway up the thigh. We never seemed to use this feature for anything other than him being goofy in the house. The logo is on the left side on top of a basketball patch which is raised whereas the design on the lower half of the right leg is part of the fabric and smooth to the touch. Overall, would recommend these pants for both kids who are looking for clothes to use in sports as well as general play. The quality is great. Nice sturdy and thick fabric (not waterproof), yet breathable.

The Nike Big Kids’ Basketball Pants is made out of great material. The outside has a soft silky touch while the inside is lined with a cozy material. The design is overall great. The snap buttons at the side gives it’s a nice look but doesn’t take away from the functionality of a sweatpants. I like the design for the colder days as it’s easy for my child to snap the buttons at the side and pull off the sweatpants with his sneakers still on for basketball practice. The only thing I would change about this design is the patch logo on the leg. I feel that it’s too big.
