Nike Shox Z

The Nike Shox is such a classic shoe, you really can’t go wrong. From the slender look, the comfort, and the shox effect, it has been a staple in my closet for over a decade. I wear a 7.5 in womens; this shoe fits a bit looser than my other shox but not enough to size down. I prefer extra room so that I can wear any socks without compromising the fit/comfort. These are my go to when I know I need to be on my feet all day. Love these shoes!

I love that the Shox line is coming back! I love the refined and modern look of these shoes and that they appear less bulky than older Shox models. The shoes are more on the narrow side, but I have narrow feet, so it works for me. I love the color and the shiny accents throughout the shoe and the springy heel cushioning. I like that I can wear them both casually and sometimes in a little more formal settings. I was able to wear these all day after breaking them in, but wouldn't mind even a little more cushion throughout the shoe. One thing to note, the back of the shoe comes up a little high, so I have to wear higher socks so it doesn't rub. I do feel like the material will help these shoes last a long time, and overall I am a big fan.

The Nike Shox Z are made unlike any previous Nike Shox model. The shoes fit very narrow around the toe box. If given the choice sizing up a half size may have given me a better fit. The design of the Nike Shox Z lacks that of a running shoe. Majority of runners are toe strikers compared to heel strikers. These shoes offer plenty of support in the heel but no support in the underfoot from toe box to midfoot. The material and color of this Nike Shox Z model may be the best aspects. The material is easy to clean. The grey/silver/black colors complement each other perfectly. The Nike Shox Z could easily improve by sticking with features from previous models. I recommend keeping runners in mind when designing running shoes.
