A Zoom Air unit at the forefoot gives you a light, responsive bounce when your foot connects to the track. Two cushioned chambers within the Air unit add even more stability and spring. It is combined with a full-length carbon plate for a propulsive and stable feel as your foot takes off. The carbon is tuned in the midfoot and heel for a stiff feel where needed, for better transition from heel to toe.
A woven and synthetic upper gives you secure, lightweight containment. Notched laces means less chance of them untying mid-run.
Removable spikes at the forefoot help give you the traction needed to go your fastest. A shockwave pattern on the outsole, designed from athlete data, adds extra traction along the foot where you need it most.
Lightweight foam in the heel helps cushion your foot without adding weight.

Great running sprint spikes. Only issue is that the air bubble tends to pop these are ny daughter's third pair. First pair we had a popped bubble. the 2 other's are a main pair and a back up pair just in case we have a mishap during a major competition. The carbon foot plate moulds to your foot. Great design and comfortable

The new Air Zoom Maxfly More Uptempo is equally as responsive as the great Maxfly spikes from the past few years. Somehow, the shoe feels a little supportive, better built overall. Also slightly more stable. Maybe it's just the great new graphics (I don't miss the blinding yellow Maxflys). The track contact is instant and yes, comfortable at the same time. Ran 200's and 100s yesterday in them and will see how they handle the 400 next. Great, great shoe.
