Mød bokseklubben, der forener Londons unge igennem sport. Sidst opdateret: 14. december 2021 3 minutters læsetid Gemt væk i Croydon i det sydlige London findes en overraskende lille bokseklub, der har en transformerende effekt på børn, som prøver at få deres liv tilbage på sporet. Pladsen er sparsom, det er lummert og kompromisløst, men formålet er ubestrideligt: at forandre folks liv til det bedre. Adam Ballard og Ben Eckett grundlagde Gloves Not Gunz i starten af 2017, og klubben voksede ud fra deres mål om at se en forandring i deres lokalmiljø, efter der havde været en række kriminelle episoder begået af unge lovovertrædere. Gloves Not Gunz er for alle. Børn fra forskellige skoler og kvarterer, som kommer med forskellige problemer, møder op. De anerkender deres forskelligheder, men tager dem ikke med ind i klubben. Der er plads til at have det sjovt, nyde noget nyt og slippe sig selv fri. Enhver lille sejr bliver anerkendt og fejret. Børn fra det sydlige London har nemmere ved at håndtere hverdagens besværligheder, når der bliver løftet vægte, dyrket cirkeltræning og trænet åndedrætsøvelser. Det hjælper med at afbalancere energien og skabe en ro.  ## "Boksning har påvirket mit liv markant. Det har ændret måden, jeg ser alting på. Jeg er mere positiv og selvsikker, og jeg har helt sikkert fået mere selvværd, efter jeg startede med at bokse".  I denne Crew Love kommer vi tættere på Precieux Noka og de andre medlemmer, som giver denne fantastiske organisation dets formål, og vi lærer, hvordan liv bliver transformeret, igennem den udfordring det er at lære at bokse.
