Jordan Sport Essentials

This is one of the comfiest skirts I have ever worn! The built it shorts are the buttery soft, compression material that feels like you’re wearing nothing at all. The skirt that overlays the is more of a stretchy water resistant type feel. The slit in the side gave me a little sexy vibe, with still being professional and covered. Between the material and the overall feel and performance, I was pleasantly surprised by this skirt. Working in the office of my design/build company during the day, but coaching gymnastics and aerial silks in the evenings, it can be difficult to find an outfit that fits both. This is the perfect thing! I was able to pair it with a nice shirt to meet with homeowners during the day, and then head directly to the gym to coach aerial silks and competitive gymnastics without having to change. It has the flexibility of styling and movement; I never had to worry about it slipping, sliding or riding up. I will definitely be looking for more colors in this same skirt.

I think I found my new favorite skirt! I initially wasn’t sure how I felt about the style of the skirt with the open slit at the front, but as soon as I put it on, I fell in love. It is such a flattering style and really elevated my traditional “mom uniform” of an active skirt, t-shirt, and sneakers. The fabric feels light and moves easily with you. I comfortably worked out (held up to HIIT, strength training, and an outdoor walk) and tackled bath time in my skirt (this is where I truly appreciated the quick-dry fabric!). If I could change one thing about the skirt, it would be the waist band. I’m petite with athletic build, yet the waistband gave me a bit of a muffin top. Certainly not a deal breaker, but with a different style waistband, it would be a 5/5!

This skirt is the perfect mix of sporty and casual, the shorts peeking through the side slit give it an athletic edge while still looking put together. It’s short but not uncomfortably so, and it doesn’t ride up whether I’m walking or sitting. I’d wear this out or for errands. Honestly it feels almost too nice to sweat in, though in a pinch it could pull double duty for a workout too.
