I really, really like this jacket! It’s the perfect hybrid of style and performance. I’ve worn it more as a nice going-out jacket than I have as a workout jacket. It has all the warmth of a big coat without the bulk. The holes throughout it also keep you at a comfortable temperature while working up a sweat, and when it becomes too hot it bundles up nicely in the bag stitched into the inside.
I’ve used this for playing pickleball a few times later at night when it starts cooling off. It is tight enough that it’s not flapping around getting in the way, while also being stretchy enough that it isn’t constricting. It has a sleek enough look to it that I don’t ever hesitate to grab it when we are going out for dinner, or even going to church. It’s just a good-looking jacket that doesn’t scream “exercise clothes”.
I wore it out during a particularly last rain storm and I definitely meets my criteria for waterproof. It’s the perfect material that lets water slide right off without soaking through. I hate the plastic feel of rain coats so this jacket is my go-to on the wet days.
The only thing that I never had a use for was the double-sided zipper. You can unzip it from the top or the bottom, but I can’t think of any reason you’d need to unzip it from the bottom. That definitely doesn't take away how much I love the jacket, just something I’ve noticed.
It really is an all-around beautifully crafted jacket.
