Better ride than the 18.

Got the Orange Pulse a little early. Have a couple of runs in. Lacing is fine, but the configuration seems a little narrow for the size of the upper. Floating tongue, but doesn’t move around as badly as the Peg Premium. Overall though, this is what I wanted the 18 to feel like. Noticeably lighter than the 18, with a LOT more bounce. These feel more natural to run in, and the ride isn’t as dead/muted as the 18 feels (to me, at least). I realize rocker shapes/foams/etc don’t feel the same for everyone…but I would say if you’re deciding btw the 18 and the Plus, spend the extra $25 and get the Plus.
