I got these for my 10-year-old, and he’s been excited to wear them every day. They fit true to size, look great, and seem tough enough for both the playground and casual basketball games. They have a combination of smooth and shiny look on the outside with soft and secure inside . They were a little stiff at first, but after a couple of wears they softened up and now he says they’re really comfortable. Definitely a solid choice if you want something stylish and durable for an active kid.

My 9‑year‑old has put the Jordan Max Aura 7 in all black through just about everything—recess sprints, playground basketball, and even long days out—and they’ve held up great. I wad excited to open the box and see these sneakers, and they are very sharp looking. The all black is very nice, although the shiny part on the toes looks a little odd to me. They almost remind me of shiny dress shoes, rather than sneakers. The materials used are all very nice quality, and they are very stylish. Unfortunately. The fit was a bit off too. They were just way too wide. Even tightening the laces as much as possible didn’t help. This made them hard to walk in because they slipped around.
