After the 7-year journey from conception to release, the Air VaporMax represents a new era in Nike innovation. To truly capture the feeling of "running on air", the designers restructured the Air unit to be attached directly to the upper. As you step down, each lug gets pushed into the Air unit, ramping up the pressure. Then, as you step off, the pressure releases creating springy bounce with superior flexibility.   • Love the styling and recycled material; quality of sole went down since made in China

    Loved these and the fact they are recycled material… and have bought many many pairs over the years on website and in store.. when they were made in Vietnam they were amazing, good support, heaven to walk and run in …now made in China and Overly squashy and your foot sinks way down at all the pressure points; bubbles on the soles wear through and pop quickly now too. I wear them about two months and then the air goes out on one side… wish they’d bring the quality back!!!
