Fix the Squeak in the Shoe and I’ll Consider Buying Again
So I’ve been wearing these shoes for years due to great comfort and fit, but will no longer be buying them. The last few pairs start squeaking as if something is living in the sole of my shoes. I can no longer sneak up on my wife or dog, as they can hear me and my sole companions coming a mile away. Get rid of the squeak and I’ll happily come back. Meanwhile the 4 different color pairs I currently own will be finding their way to the recycle bin.

Good walking shoe
fits very well. I use an orthotic and there was room for it. very comfortable.

Great Walker!
These are excellent walking shoes! I have been using them for my walking routine for over a decade. Not sure how many of them I've worn out.

Disappointed in new quality
This is my second pair of these shoes. The first pair were wonderful had them for almost 2 years and wore them everywhere, they lasted all of my shifts as a barista with everything getting spilled on them. I got my second pair and I’ve had the for maybe 10 months and the sole on both feet is already separating from the rest of the shoe. The quality went down and I don’t think I would recommend these shoes anymore because of it.

Shoe squeaks
I have been buying these shoes for many, many years. The last few pair, they started squeaking withing a few weeks of wearing them. Last pair I bought was Mar 17,2026. These started squeaking end of April. Time to move on from the Air Monarch IV. Quality has severely dropped.

Bad Squeak
The shoe was a perfect fit, but they have a bad squeak when walking.

Durable Nike Air Monarch, Awesome!
I still have the original Nike Air Monarch from 2009 UPC91209905791 and I am very happy and satisfied with this durable product. So with this new Nike Air Monarch IV UPC198739543523 is much improvements; lightweight very comfortable with the black and color is awesome! I love it! and very happy with it like my older Nike Air Monarch. In the near future I will buy again another Nike Air Monarch and I highly recommend it to others!

Disappointment....
I bought half size up as recommended (Fits small; we recommend ordering half a size up). On trying them on they were tight all round. But I needed the shoes so I thought I'll keep them and stretch them.
Additionally I'd already sent two different pairs back for the same reason.
Have to say I'm disappointed and it seems that Nike cannot fulfill my needs any longer. The quality has…

Happy to say that I resolved the squeaky shoe problem! The problem is the inner sole. When the sole is glued into place, they use multiple strips of glue when walking the area without glue is squeaking. I removed the sole, takes a little effort. Once the sole is removed I then put some powder inside the shoe, place the sole back in, do not glue it, the squeak is gone!

Comfortable but squeaky
Developed a squeak in the right shoe after about 3 months. Quite annoying to walk around the office which has hard wood flooring.
Otherwise quite comfortable and I got the wide variant which is amazing for my feet.
