Nike Mercurial Vapor 17 Elite

After wearing a few weeks with the Nike Vopor Elite 17’s I’m quite impressed with the performance and comfort. The shoe is crazy lightweight, but incredibly responsive and supportive. Outer material is coated in a tactical rubber that adds noticeable touch control to ball handling/shooting. They run true to size and typical in my experience with Nike across the board, are a great fit for narrow feet. While this is perfect fit for me, if you’re wide footed, could be bit cramped. I’m a big fan of the styling, which I’d call sharp and aggressively loud with the neon contrast against the black. See you on the pitch!

There has been a heightened interest in soccer in our family ever since the World Cup series. I myself am looking to improve my game, and these cleats are the first step in helping me do that. When I first picked up these cleats, I could feel how lightweight they were. So much lighter than my former pair! I also noticed the excellent quality and overall look of the cleats, which I love…the green on black looks great! At first I was worried they wouldn’t fit because they looked smaller than my previous cleats. I realize now this is because they are meant to give that “barefoot” feel when wearing them. Because they hug your foot, you will feel the ball with every kick. I always play soccer on the grass, rain or shine, and before I got these cleats, I was slipping all over the place every time I cut. But the studs on these cleats can definitely remedy that problem. I am excited to watch my game improve over time as I break these cleats in even more!

These cleats are super light. Honestly, they are the lightest cleats I have ever owned. It makes running and dribbling in them a breeze. They feel very well made and hug the foot nicely. It was little hard to adjust the laces at first. But once they got into the correct spot, they stayed tied well. The design is very sharp looking. Overall, these are an excellent pair of cleats that will work great for soccer.
