The moment my son opened the shoebox, he got a huge grin and immediately commented on how he loved the style. Passing the eye test matters at this age! The design is modern and sleek. The neon colors were appreciated too. He loved the little shoelace holder. It adds pizzazz and is functional as his shoelaces come untied far less frequently while wearing them. The quality is top notch. He slipped them on immediately and the fit is true to size. He loved the arch support and feel of the shoe initially. My son is very active. His complaint was that as he played, the thick, shiny material on the top of the shoe was thick and restrictive and did not easily bend. He especially noticed it when running. If there was a way to minimize that restriction, this would be his favorite shoe!
