The moment my son opened the shoebox, he got a huge grin and immediately commented on how he loved the style. Passing the eye test matters at this age! The design is modern and sleek. The neon colors were appreciated too. He loved the little shoelace holder. It adds pizzazz and is functional as his shoelaces come untied far less frequently while wearing them. The quality is top notch. He slipped them on immediately and the fit is true to size. He loved the arch support and feel of the shoe initially. My son is very active. His complaint was that as he played, the thick, shiny material on the top of the shoe was thick and restrictive and did not easily bend. He especially noticed it when running. If there was a way to minimize that restriction, this would be his favorite shoe!

Picked these up for my eight-year-old in a size 5, and he absolutely loves them. The colors give me Space Jam, Monster, and Looney Tunes vibes, and there’s definitely a Halloween feel to them with the predominantly black colorway. I actually like that about them because they’re still a fun, eye-catching sneaker without being too loud to wear regularly. He already has a pair of Spizike Lows and wears them all the time, so he was excited to get these. He’s been asking me every day when he can wear them, which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about how much he likes them. We let him try them on and walk around the house, but these run a half size too big for him right now, so he’ll have to wait a little before wearing them outside. Of course, that hasn’t stopped him from asking! The overall quality looks good, and I also like the special-edition box and paper that come with them.
