How This Was Made

The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

They're definitely cute shorts, tried them in store before purchase and I could fit both L and XL, sized up to XL for comfort and ended up getting 2 pairs. unfortunately the stitching on the inner shorts are looser than expected for a run short, especially on the end of thigh seams :( Both pairs so far had been wore once each only and for a short run 30-40 mins. Noticed after my run with the 2nd pair that stitches had come off one part of the seams nearer to my inner thighs, they had bunched up and currently threads are further unraveling. Checked the first pair and while it's still intact, the threads seem to come off with some stretching...
