The more flexibility you have in the midsole and outsole, the more you can move naturally. We laser-siped the outsole for better flexibility, whether you're jumping, planking or powering through plyometrics. We also rounded the big-toe side of the forefoot for better agility and quickness when making sudden movements.
The more supportive the shoe, the more stability it can give to your stance. A combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step. We added more foam in the heel for improved stability when digging deep for another rep.
The more cushioning that you have underfoot, the more comfortable your workout can be. Cushioning helps soften the impact as your feet hit the ground. Laser-siped foam in the forefoot and midsole offers flexibility and comfort.
The upper is made from breathable, supportive engineered mesh with built-in stretch where needed, like lunging, squatting and jumping.
Cables give you a dynamic fit and help keep you secure during your workout.

I love white sneakers but the material definitely feels cheap and filmsy. The shoes have minimal support. Been always wearing US 9 but these were harder to put on since the "opening" cannot be expanded - especially so with socks!
Best shoes for the gym!

Love these shoes. I have about 10 pairs of training (not running) shoes for the gym and I consistently find myself going for my Metcons. I own 4 different pairs and I will say I like the earlier models (3/4) better than these (more stability) but these are still great. I got the white/metallic silver/smoke color - the white with the black accents. Wish I had read the description better because the little speckles on the bottom are silver, not gray. But these are overall fantastic shows if you are doing any kind of strength training, box jumps, etc. I typically go between 6 and 6.5 in Nike and the 6 in this particular model of Metcon is perfect.

Run small. Usually a 6.5 but had to exchange for a 7. Overall feel very comfortable.
