Nike Air Max Muse SE

I'll be really honest, the Nike Air Max Muse sneakers are not my normal personal style, but I'm the kind of person who wears sneakers primarily for functionality, otherwise I'm a girly girl, happiest in a pair of flats or barefoot. That said, these are a great pair of shoes. When running or really any type of exercise I'm looking for a stable shoe that gives me a lot of support, and I can honestly say I haven't tried on a pair of shoes that I felt this supported in. The arch support feels great, there is more toe drop than I'm used to but for running it was so nice, and my bad, sprained-them-too-many-times ankles felt totally secure and stabilized. My feet aren't narrow but they are thin top to bottom and I often struggle with sneakers digging in to the top of my feet and hitting really painful pressure points when laced up, and there was none of that with the design of these shoes. I'm honestly pretty amazed. I love the mesh for airflow, and the fabric detailing is sleek and really cool looking. I got a lot of compliments from my sneaker head friend on them. Overall my favorite thing about these sneakers is the way they feel on my feet, especially the toe drop. I'd probably choose something with color if I had to pick something to change, but these sneakers definitely have a place in my closet.

I’m an 42 year old mom and usually stick to neutral, classic shoes, so these were a little outside my norm. They fit true to size, with really good cushioning and support. Comfortable enough to wear all day without sore feet - which I tested on a full day amusement park visit. A bit trendier than I’d pick, but I was pleasantly surprised by the black on black design. Sporty, but not too loud. The most unusual design element for me was the laces being set underneath the overlays. At first, it caught me off guard because I personally have never seen that before but it actually blends really well into the overall design. I really appreciate how breathable they are — even after a long day on my feet, there was no rubbing, no pressure points, and none of that hot, sweaty feeling. They also feel sturdy enough to last The biggest win for me is definitely the comfort. What I’m not as crazy about is the overall look: the visible air bubble and some of the spacey, almost futuristic design details feel a little “alien” for my taste - this is obviously a personal preference and I expect this to be an uncommon perspective. I will absolutely be wearing these again and again!

The design is quite unique with the Max Air cushioning on the sides and breathable mesh on top. The shoe does feel narrow in the toe box and required some time to break in. I wore them around the house the 1st day and within a few hours they felt comfortable, “like walking on a cloud”. The split sole with high arch support cradled my arch and was great to workout in. On both a walk around the neighborhood & my gym workout my feet stayed cool and comfortable. I love that the shoes are made with recycled materials. I received the anthracite/black shoes. I like the shine of the swoosh logos and rubber at the heel area however, the rest of the materials are a very mate black. I normally prefer a little more flash with the shoes I select. This shoe is a great option for individuals who prefer an understated shoe color. Nike does have many other color options to choose from. Overall this is a great shoe for anyone wanting a stylish option for both gym and everyday wear.
