Best in my shoe collection
I have these in 2 colors. Best support of all my athletic shoe collection. The cushion lining around the ankle makes for a great fit. No need for time to break in the shoes. Great for everything right out of the box.

Very disappointed! Order at least 1/2 size bigger! Runs extremely small tight and very narrow The area where the shoe tongue is gave me a lot of pain

Comfy Right Out of the Box; Supportive & Dry All Day Long on Winter Trails
There was no breaking-in period for these -- comfortable right out of the box. I hike 3-6 miles almost every day on trails, and bought these to keep my feet warm and dry during snowy and wet winter hikes as low as 0°. These do not disappoint! Not waterproof at all
I bought these shoes because they are supposed to be waterproof. I have no idea what part of these shoes is Gore-tex but ... no the whole shoe, I guess, since my feet are wet in 15 minutes even in light rain. Such a disappointment!

Good enough but not as good as Pegasus Trail 4 Gore-Tex
The shoes use the "rocker" design at the bottom, which makes it stiller than its predecessor, my beloved Trail 4. In winter conditions, the bottom seems to perform well, but I can't do a side by side comparison with my Trail 4, which I had left (forgotten) at a trail head hundreds of miles away. The Trail 5 is also not as deep, making it harder to wade through steams.

Bad downgrade
So disappointed. New design is no comparison to the Nike Pegasus 4 which were perfect- why change it? My heels were slipping out of these yet they felt tight over the foot. The previous heel sock protected your feet from grit etc. entering the shoe, the version 5 just gaiped and I could imagine would let anything in 🤣please bring back the old design!

Too tight
I had an older version of this shoe that I loved and wore them almost every day until I wore holes through the soles. Got the Pegasus 5 as a gift and oh my goodness, they are so tight across the top. It’s not noticeable at first, but after a while my feet go numb because of how tight the shoe is, and loosening the laces does not help. I have flat narrow feet, so I can’t imagine what the fit must be for someone with higher arches.

Amazing Comfort for Long Days on My Feet
I recently bought the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 for work, and I’m honestly so happy with them. I’m on my feet all day long on weekends, and I needed shoes with good cushioning to support my ankles — these definitely do the job. They’re extremely comfortable, lightweight, and make a big difference during long shifts. I’m impressed enough that I’m planning to get another pair for my dad too. Highly recommend!
