From the moment we took them out of the box, it was clear these were going to be a favorite. The design is sleek and sporty. What really stands out is the easy slip-on design. No laces, no fuss. Just a secure fit with the stretchy band and pull tabs that even my 7-year-old can handle alone. It makes getting out the door smoother, especially on school mornings or before practice. Comfort-wise, the shoes are incredibly lightweight and flexible. Exactly what you’d want for a kid who’s always running, jumping, climbing, or dancing around. The cushioned sole gives good support without being stiff, and the breathable upper keeps their feet from getting sweaty. Durability has been great so far, even with all the playground and pavement action. Great mix of function, comfort, and cool style. Best of all, my kid actually wants to wear them every day. Highly recommend for any active little one who doesn’t want to slow down.

Fabric: The upper is made of breathable mesh with some synthetic overlays, which keeps the foot cool while still offering structure. The fabric feels soft and flexible, allowing natural foot movement, which is important for growing feet. It also seems durable enough to withstand a fair amount of rough play. What I Liked Most: The ease of use is a standout feature. No laces to worry about, and the pull tabs make slipping the shoe on a breeze. The comfort and design are also major pluses. What I Would Change: If anything, I’d like to see a slightly more rugged sole for better traction on different surfaces. It's fine for playgrounds and sidewalks, but a little more grip could make it even more versatile.

“They’re perfect” is how my daughter described the Nike Flex Runner 4 shoes. The Flex Runners slipped on easily and, according to her, felt great right out of the box. We ordered them a half size up to future proof them a little and they fit slightly big. Therefore, I can say with confidence that they run true to size. So far they have been used to: play soccer, ride bikes, climb on play sets, walk/run around, and wear casually. They are quickly becoming my daughter’s all-around favorite shoes. Her favorite thing about them is that “they’re Nike.” My favorite thing about them is how easy they are for her to put on and take off. When asked to put on shoes, she quickly throws these on without assistance and is ready for her next adventure. We’re very happy with the triple black colorway because it matches with almost anything. These are a little beefier than previous models. Like its predecessors, this version of the Flex Runner offers a secure fit, breathable upper, and flexible sole that suits most activities. After several hours of play, the shoes are holding up well and don’t show any signs of serious wear or flaws. These are a dream for any parent of young children and I highly recommend them.
