Firstly I have bought 2 pairs of the flex runner 3 for my son in different t sizes. This easily being a welcomed addition. The 4 patterns the same look and feel with minor changes such as the word Nike across the forefoot which I do like. The sneaker is snug therefore I usually size up. The design is sport and my son enjoyed it although he now prefers the sandal type footwear. The fabric is breathable and stretchy. The best feature is the easy slip on and off. The sole has not started to peel from the front which was an issue is the last version.

Pull tabs on the heel and tongue work with a stretchy inner sleeve to help make these shoes easy for kids to put on themselves. Elastic straps run behind the heel and across the top of the foot to provide a snug, secure feel.

Flex grooves in the outsole add flexibility, helping every step feel natural. Multi-surface traction works with sturdy foam that wraps around the heel to provide grip and stability when kids shift directions.
Durable comfort and support

Comfortable Laceless Shoe

These shoes just came in time for the new school year for my son. He’s always running around the playground and doing laps for P.E. so having a shoe that’s comfortable for him is a must. It has a really cushioned sole and lightweight upper. The shoe is overall light but still remains durable. What the photos don’t really show is that the back heel of the upper does have a little bit of padding on the inside which should help with comfort. My son’s favorite features are the all black colorway and the ability to just slip these on and off. They are laceless but his foot is secure with its forefoot strap. We did do a half a size up and it fits him well. He’s still learning how to tie shoelaces so this a good shoe for him while he still practices. He’s owned previous Flex Runners before and with the latest model, he’s pretty excited about having a new pair.
Perfect for independent toddlers

Overall - This is a great shoe that balances comfort, ease of use (for a toddler), functionality and looks. Comfort - the midsole is soft and the soles have a these grooves that allow my toddlers foot to move naturally, comfortably and with great grip. Ease of use - Easily the top feature. It is so easy for my toddler to put on himself. The elastic that goes around the top of the foot helps keep the shoe secure and in place, even with the most active kid. Note that the first time my toddler put these on, he thought they were tight. But after one wear, they loosened up perfectly and he talks about how comfortable they really are.
