The perfect blend of old school and new school. These can dress up or dress down with anything. Tennis dress, jeans, skirt, shorts…whatever. They will look good and match. The outsoles are fashionable. The insoles are comfortable. The toe box is a little tight. The leather is high quality. The materials on the rest of the shoe is durable. These sneakers really take you back to a simpler time with a simpler fashion. The laces are nice. They go slip on and off really easily. The bottom soles will take a long time to wear down, so these will last you a long time. The mix of new school comfort with the old school style is really nice. I would definitely recommend these for office wear, casual wear, walking shoes, school…or anything in between.

I wouldn’t walk long distances in these because of the narrow toebox & hard sole. It is a more modern sillhouette similar to the cortez so not surprised about the fit of the shoe. I love the style of the cortez just not for walking long. The gum sole is pretty dope and meshes well with the suede cheetah print swoosh. The details of the swoosh gives it a nice twist to a rather simple colorway. Would I recommend these? Yes!

My wife loved these shoes the second she saw them. The animal print used on the swoosh was an immediate eye catcher. The nubuck type material used for the swoosh was a nice touch to give the shoes a bit of depth and material variety and offset the upper’s leather construction well. The bit of contrast from the hit of black on the rear of the midsole and the gum outsole layer were also great touches for a bit of color. They both worked very well with the animal print to emphasize and support the print. Overall, the styling was also a big hit. The casual, modern take on what looks like an older silhouette was executed very well. There are hints of the Cortez and Killshots in there but with a softer edge to them. The serrated edge to the leather running along the lace holes was a nice touch that especially reminded me of the Cortez. The low profile look good and the shoe isn’t overly bulky. The only thing that stood out from a design aspect was whether the toe cap should have been seude or nubuck to offset it a bit. The medial and lateral panels just feel too big with the toe cap connecting them being all the same color and material. Breaking them up might make the shoe look sleeker without making it too busy looking. The fit was a bit, as it ran true to size and was comfortable right out of the box. The only thing was some minor concern about the back heel pressing against the Achilles a little with extended wear.
