A incredible pair of shorts for every possible activity. My son is always on the move. This is his new favorite pair because of how lightweight and flexible it is. It keeps him cool when playing soccer and training for track and field. I’m a runner myself and like how the fabric is stretchy around the thighs, so there’s no restricted movements. The big plastered Nike logo is so cool. The side slit on the legs are great if your child has larger legs insuring a comfortable run. There is a built in pair of briefs that are comfortable for my son but might not be for your child if he is larger. Downside of this product is the lack of color options. We need more color Nike!

My son is ranked as a top 2 Jiu Jitsu fighter in Texas (2025) in his respective age/weight class. We’re hitting the mat atleast 5 days a week to prepare for competitions in the state of Texas (Dallas/Houston/Austin). These Nike Dri-Fit Split Shorts are perfect for our Nogi practices especially with summer coming in hot. They’re light weight and perfect for Jiu Jitsu practice, they move and flex well with my son’s legs moving in and out of submissions like triangles and arm bars. Our only issue was I feel the size runs a little small, but not small enough where they ruin the fit. Just keep in mind depending on your style/sport.

Although these are targeted more for boys (large), they fit perfect for my tall niece! She’s only 9 and we are already struggling finding shorts and jeans that are long enough for her. She immediately loved the length of these shorts and the fit on the waist. She is a size 10/12 and these large boy shorts fit her perfectly! Definitely will be ordering more for her! Highly recommend!
