Nike Shox Z

I’m not sure if it’s because I’m older now, but the shoe feels way narrower than I remember it. The top view almost reminds me of a cleat. I don’t think I’d get another pair of these. I also have an all silver pair - these definitely look better with a little extra color to break up the design. All in all, cool to have a classic back, but just not really my style. They’re pretty comfortable on my heels, but after a few hours of wear my toes start to feel it.

This is a creative choice for a shoe, I wasn’t expecting a kitten heel version of shox but here we are. I see the vision and can absolutely see how someone would opt into these for an outfit but I’m not sure they were exactly what I’d go for. It’s a very stiff and narrow shoe and the height of the shox is just a little too low for my personal liking.

I was really excited to see these come back into style, they’re similar to the early 2000’s version that was an instant fashion staple. Although there are clear differences design wise I’d say the concept is still intact with a new futuristic twist on them. However I do feel that these have elevated in comfort, interesting enough by only having one “shock” it feels super comfortable and great to walk in. I’d say these run perfect to size with very minimal need to break in.
