Too short shorts

While the color is beautiful and the fabric consistent with what I’ve come to expect from Nike, why are these shorts considerably shorter than what is shown in the photos? I don’t let my children wear short shorts for a reason. I’m hoping it’s not a trend to show one thing and sell another. Please do better.

Very nice comfy pair of shorts, they do run a little bit bigger in size but they’re great for my 5 year old. She loves how soft and comfortable they are, and the length gives plenty of coverage.
