When I first opened the box, it was immediate love at first sight! I loved the grayscale Colorway and the pattern of the sole. Overall, very comfortable sneaker. Easy to wear and fits well on the foot, except for the slightly narrow toe box area of the sneaker. For me, I got my normal size of a 10M, but if knowing how it fit beforehand, I would’ve gotten a 10.5M just for that little extra room. Other than wishing I went up a size it honestly fits amazing, it felt especially meant to be with how the back of the shoe holds and fits with the heel/back ankle of my feet. Also, this shoe is lightweight and easy to walk in for a day.

The G.T. Hustle Academy basketball shoe was first extremely light. That is one thing I look for in a basketball shoe to be able to stay in the game longer. It is also nice that the materials are considered sustainable. The design is very simple which allows the shoe to not only be a basketball shoe but also a running shoe. With that being said one of the parts of the shoe that could be improved is the breathability. After a short time of having the shoe on during physical activity I noticed my feet getting hot. Another area of improvement that I look for in a basketball shoe is style. Not only do I look for performance in a basketball shoe I also look for style. Basketball is an art. The cooler the shoe the cooler the art looks.

The G.T. Hustle Academy shoes were nothing exceptional, but not entirely disappointing either. They were just your average pair of basketball sneakers. The material the shoes are made of was satisfactory, and there was a decent amount of cushion but it was not the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn either. They did run slightly undersize as I usually wear a size 9 for my nike basketball sneakers, but these were a bit tigher all the way around - especially in the toe box. I could feel it mostly when I was cutting in and out, or when I tried to stop on a dime. At points it felt like my toes were jammed in the front of the shoe and was not the most comfortable when I was making some of those basketball movements. Over time you may be able to break them in for a more comfortable fit, but that is yet to be seen. If you are a basketball player looking for a decent pair of everyday outdoor court shoes, I think this could be a potential solution for you and then you can wear your preferred pair during indoor basketball games.
