Nike Phantom 6 Low Elite

The Nike Phantom 6 Low Elite FG Soccer Cleats are the first cleats I have not had to break in and I have been playing soccer for over 25 years. The cleats mold to your feet without squishing or pinching your toes increasing the comfort and decreasing the cleats profile. The grip on the cleats makes me feel like my touch is better than ever. While I have worn them many times in dry weather, I have not worn them in the rain yet, so I’m looking forward to seeing if the grip will be just as good in wet conditions. I have worn these cleats on grass and turf and they seem to work well on both surfaces providing great traction as you cut/make lateral movements. One thing I would change is adding a little more padding in the ball area of the foot. I tend to put a lot of pressure there, so extra padding would help with that. Overall I would highly recommend these cleats to anyone who plays soccer frequently and needs cleats that you need to start playing in immediately.

I wasn’t too sure what to expect from these when I first got them. The swoosh on the side is super aggressive from a texture standpoint. I think if you are passing off the back of your foot on the side and need any kind of spin on the ball these will definitely do that, I personally don’t think I am capable of utilizing that feature much. I use Nike cleats a lot and these felt just slightly wider than most nike cleats fit. I was happy about it because generally the cleats are just barely too snug feeling, these were perfect. Im addition to that the cleat pattern seems a little wider as well and I felt extremely planted in cuts and movements. Really a big fan of these overall, love the texture of the shoe too, really easy to get spin on the ball. The only thing I personally could do without is the extra texture on the back swosh, but maybe better players can make use of it.

These Phantom 6 Elites fit with just enough space around the edges to not squeeze my foot but still match the shape, allowing me to perform with an extreme accuracy that has zero shoe hinderance. The orange front mesh and blue back gives a lot of traction for great control, while maintaining a light weight that allows for no hinderance in my speed. When it comes to the design, I love the unique color scheme that gives off an overall energized and electric aesthetic. The only minor concern is the ridges on the heel, since they occasionally lead to a slight change in the intention of a back heel, but it is something I am getting used to and gradually adjusting to.
